How long will my order take?
Every piece is made to order, by hand — please allow a two-week lead time before it ships.
How does shipping work?
Local shipping is included in the price of every item, via The Courier Guy. Outside South Africa, we ship via Tunl and add a flat R2,000 to cover freight and customs — this is shown on the product page and again at checkout, so there are no surprises.
What if my item arrives with a defect?
Reach out within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue, and we'll assess it for a repair or replacement. Since every piece is made to order rather than stocked, we're not able to offer general returns for change of mind.
Why does the colour of my item look slightly different from the website?
Our leather is natural, so grain and tone can vary slightly from batch to batch — no two pieces are identical. We think that's part of the charm, not a flaw.
How do gift cards work?
Gift cards are delivered digitally by email, ready to use immediately. They expire 1 year after purchase and can be redeemed against anything in the collection, though they can't be combined with a discount code.
Which size Driftwood Backpack should I choose?
Regular fits up to a 14in laptop; Large fits up to 17in and offers roughly double the capacity. Check each size's dimensions on the product page if you're unsure.
